Jobseeker Training

All the courses offered by Relay London Jobs are short courses, from 1 day to 2 weeks, and designed to meet employers' skills needs. They are funded by public sector funding with the aim of providing people with the relevant skills to gain employment. All learners who successfully complete the courses are assisted to find employment either on the Olympic Park site or elsewhere.

CSCS (Health and Safety in Construction):
The CSCS card is an essential requirement for people wishing to work within the construction industry. The course is delivered at Heron Quays and is covered over two days. Day one is site based training and two weeks later applicants sit the test. Candidates will receive individual support where required and if they pass the test, they will receive the card free of charge. Relay runs this course approximately once a month and can enrol up to 16 candidates per course. Since its inauguration in August 2008, over 100 people have attended and over 85 per cent have successfully completed the programme.
